  1. my mini!

  2. Great mix.

That BTCC race (Rover, Supra, Starion on the grid) looks like it’s taking place on a council housing estate. Anyone know where it is?

Oh and a welcome return of the Alfa Super!

  3. There something special about the hood on those E type jags. Gorgeous car. Great pics.

  4. Roos shooting brake ftw. Definitely one of the sexiest cars ever, & my favorite Aston shooting brake conversion.

  5. Great to see some Scirocco love again in the weekly grab bag. Fun little cars.

Very disappointing that they didn’t go ahead with the new Stratos…

Maybe it’s just me, but are the lines on that Aston Martin shooting brake just a little bit awkward?

    • brennerl – no, it’s not just you. The Shooting Brake’s lines are a little bit awkward. 🙂

  6. BTCC race woz at Donington. Looks like a sink estate coz the circuit was re-built and re-opened by Tom Wheatcroft- who made his money from building Council estates… 6-Series/GTV6 ETCC from same era Donny’ also.

  7. Where is that twisty bends road? The picture with the blue Impeza. I think I have seen several pictures of that spot. Eastcoast USA or Canada, somewhere?

  8. EXCELLENT taste in cars!

  9. The second photo is mine from the 2010 Concorso d’Eleganza in the Poconos. Part of an Alfa Romeo feature collection.

  10. Dave and Royce: thanks, I updated the credits.

  11. What an amazing set of photos. This may be my favorite yet! Love all the pics but REALLY love the classic Benz racer, the 6er touring car, the Cosworth Mercedes, the 2002 Touring, the Aston Martin Shooting Brake, the little Fiat in the trailer, the Subaru, the 1M and the Stratos.

  12. Sweet Grab bag! Nice scirocco love too! Mondays are always something for me to look forward to!

  13. The car with “Opel Sport” on the trunklid; is it a Manta? If so, WANT.
