  1. Some serious work this time round. I love all those terrible-tempered things, but that 944 under brakes is pretty dramatic… Great stuff!

  2. Spectacular grab bag! Thanks MCB.

  3. Thank you for this very pleasant Monday morning surprise!

  4. Great selection this week!

  5. Particularly excellent photos this week, thanks!

  6. These never disappoint, but the curation really struck a chord for me this week. Perfectly evokes the romance of the automobile. Very nicely done!

  7. Sonett love. 🙂

  8. Bless you for posting the Eggleston image. I was just thinking today after seeing his latest 3 book volume “Chromes” how much he photographed cars, granted the were much more beautiful in his day. I had the honor of working on his images and meeting him a few years ago a highlight of my life. Also I worked for his contemporary William Christenberry very closely, Christenberry recounted a story to me once how Eggleston while in his 20’s in Memphis had a green Ferrari California and the two of them would speed around town as Eggleston shot images one handed with his Leica while driving, perhaps the best story anyone has ever told me. As always keep the amazing Monday dose coming.

  9. Stunning grab bag this week!

  10. Could someone please tell this neophyte what the first car is? So gorgeous. Thank you!!

    • 1968 Lamborghini Miura Roadster in its “ILZRO” spec. It has since been restored to its original design as conceived by Marcello Gandini, and looks quite different to the above.
