  2. Stance on the GTV6 (3rd pic) is sweet. Geez, that’s a lot of cops (17th pic). Love the Beetle towing the Beetle (28th pic). Nomination for the worlds funkiest race car hauler (29th pic). 33rd pic reminds me of why I’ve always wanted an UrQ. Great grab bag this week!

    • Agreed, though note that the third pic is actually of an Alfetta GTV, not a GTV6. The absence of the 6’s hood bulge is the giveaway— a mistake I make myself from time to time.

        • Come to think of it, I might even be wrong here— that could be an Alfetta GT and not GTV (“GTV” was reserved for the top-of-the-line 2.0 version, whereas the GT refers to the 1.6 and 1.8).

          • the Alfetta has Euro spec GTV stainless bumpers, with the rubber “overiders”. Also has stainless strips in the grille as per GTV. This is a US spec though and has had the bumpers added. Nice front end treatment, with the front spoiler and arch extensions.

            GTV6’s are quite different, big plastic bumpers and different grille.

            And yes, I’m an Alfetta geek.
