The yellow car group photo appears to be some sort of club gathering in Japan, but Google Translate was only moderately helpful. Otherwise, the Beetle-based utility truck, the Mk1 Scirocco, and then of course, the much discussed E30 Touring right after it, made this grab bag for me. What can I say – the less obvious stuff does it for me…

Wasn’t sure if that was you – there are a lot of Larrys in the world, after all (though perhaps not nearly as many traveling the same narrow path of automobilia on the Interweb – but I suspected it was 🙂

Fortunately, not many Larrys on these sites. One or two others on BaT, but that’s about it. Trust me – we don’t want too many Larrys around. At least that’s what my wife keeps telling me.

Repost, but certainly worthy of it.

Love the Ford RS200 pictures, cabin is very ’80’s cool, with the red wheel. And the Citroen SM in the mist is an incredible picture, very mysterious and timeless.

I can’t tell if I love all the things you love or I’ve just grown to love them by viewing your blog. For example, vintage Cobra race pictures, Porsches rallying, Alfas, and GP/Sports car photos from the ’50s-’60s.
I see that you’re on an SM kick! Any more info on that silver GTV6 with stripes?

Happy to take part either way.
Wasn’t able to find anything more on that Six, unfortunately.

Xander, the GTV6 with the stripes is a NZ car. The photo is from a shoot when the car featured in the local Classic Car magazine.

It was for sale for huge money a few years back, was bought then sold quickly. It’s since disappeared from the scene. It’s not a bad article, but I’m not sure on those stripes.

Rik, thanks for the additional info on the GTV6.
By the way, put me down in the “likes the stripes” category. I think it give this car a little extra “pop” without being “over the top.”
