  1. Always appreciate a nicely done Scirocco, and the Golf assembly line is pretty cool too, but that TR6 just looks so comfortably inviting…

    • Doesn’t it? It’ll never sit high atop my wish list, but I certainly wouldn’t mind one. Of course, in practical terms that means I’ll only ever admire them from afar and not actually in my garage— you need to want a car pretty badly in order to make ‘the leap’…

  2. 356 outlaw, unnnff. Doesnt get any better than that.

  3. The Porsche Carrera badge is one of mine — you featured it before actually! http://www.flickr.com/photos/thisisasummary/3844526368/in/photostream/

I’m only point it out to help you have a more complete post, not to nitpick. 🙂

BTW, the yellow 288 GTO is *the business*.

  4. Where’d the red SA RX-7 picture come from?

You really make it hard for me to keep my focus on the Z, you know that? 🙂

  5. Never thought a long-nose 911 could look huge…

    • It’s not often that it’ll happen, but it’s definitely possible. A Lotus Elan will do it.. an Alpine A110.. the car seen in the above photo (though not sure what it is).. and a few others.

  6. Fantastic set of pics

  7. Best. Week. Ever.
Anyone else notice the tires on the Mk1 ‘Rocco are directionals on backwards? (At least the drivers front) Major peeve of mine….
