Must have been a tight fit for those two large Gendarmerie officers in that tiny Alpine.

Gaaaaah! Another amazing post! Motorsport E12s and E28s, period Gendarmerie history, the paint job on that new Stratos, Aston, muddy 2002 and what is going on with the awesome Quattro race car pictures? Marketing?
I thought at first the shot with the Audi’s underside being sprayed was to get any snow or salt off the car but I see the camera screw capturing it. I’m curious what that shot will look like and how it will be used.
Very cool post

Thanks! Quite the undertaking for a commercial but I bet we will be rewarded for their efforts.

The video art is a bit murky to my taste:

The print ad shot from underneath the 200 Trans-Am is stunning, though.

Lovin’ the camp gendarme with his white belt at a jaunty angle…

No matter how cool a Renault Alpine is, no one could ever take a police officer serious in those outfits! Great posts!

FYI: the photo of the A108 with the split photo shows a Matra Djet on the left side, and the A108 on the right. A deceptive photo, although it’s possible it is sourced from an early road test or comparison.

Le sigh. Almost had one last year. But I am over it.

Love the second picture. A big meaty blocked tire aimed out ready to go! Great shot.
