  1. Very cool…. A friend of mine has 2 of those, and a 400… All with their original V12 powerhouse….. Have to do a photoshoot some day.

  2. Under what definition of “complete restoration” does an incorrect engine swap qualify?? A ferrari with a BMW engine is not a ferrari.

  3. Normally I would say “Sacrilege!” but the pedigree of the BMW engine is nearly that of the classic Ferrari V12… It’s an odd combo to consider.

    At least it’s not a Chevy V8.

  4. It’s the european equivalent of putting a corvette engine in there.

  5. 1) Is the Ferrari V12 in a BMW body ?

    2) And why not a four cylinder diesel ?
