Do mine eyes deceive me? Is the car between the Esprit and the Alfetta an S2000 with a Z4 style hardtop? Is that a factory option or a Mugen thing?

The twin turbo V8 (V10?) e30 is absolutely insane, and I’m not sure I mean that in a good way.

- i agree. and the s2k had both oem and aftermarket hardtop options— the one shown here is definitely aftermarket (not sure which, but mugen is as good a guess as any).

- That’s correct. The aero package and hardtop on the S2000 is manufactured by Spoon Sports. In a strange case of “Isn’t it a small world,” I actually took that photograph on a trip to Tokyo in 2007. The source can be found here:
