If you’re a motorsport photographer, La Source, and not the Karussell, is probably the single most exciting place from which to lean over and shoot (MCB friend and Grab Bag regular Julien Mahiels has a ton of these). Here’s a breathtakingly rare (provided it’s real) GT40 Spyder passing by, literally no farther than a stone’s throw away, if that:

I found a more exciting place last week end on the Ring.
Standing 1m away from a 200kph+ corner is stupid but the adrenaline is so addictive…

it looks like a trickier place from which to shoot, is that true? looks like a lot faster corner, so you can’t really get in nice and close with a wide angle.

Much harder because of the speed. It was my first time there so you should expect better wide shots next time 😉
