This has been making the rounds on the web-o-sphere..
And for good reason— it’s a lovely little video. The car? Sublime. As we’ve said in the past, the E9 is just one of those cars you’d love to own and one day see passed down to your kids, and eventually from your kids to theirs. ‘Timeless’ is the word that best comes to mind.
Gee, that is just fantastic. Wonderful film.

I hope to be able to tell the same story about my blue BMW coupe when I’m his age.

I am very lucky to have a 3.0 csi . I used to restore 2002’s in the 70’s and always wanted an E9 . I now have 1 it is (of course) over restored . BUT I will drive it anyway. What fun !!! it has already done a Parade lap at Lime Rock and gotten breakfast in the am for my wife and myself , It too has a soul. You Drve. You Smile, You Know.
Thank You for letting me know that it matters and ENJOY!!!

I’ve saw this car and spoke to the owner a few weeks ago. He always attends the Irvine Cars & Coffee, parked along side other BMWs. What’s great is that on the windscreen is a sheet of paper listing all the places he has been in the vehicle; Canada, pretty much all of the western states of the US plus a number of National Parks. Great stuff.
