I remember almost running into one of these in Corning because I ewas paying too much attention to how beautiful it was. After driving a few the handling was dicy but the desire to possess one never went away. The subsequent Pantera was a tame and civilized car compared to the Mangusta.

Very much the opposite. The Pantera had every advantage over it. Weight, power, balance, suspension were all significantly improved.

he really is. not all of his stuff works, but i can’t think of another modern director whose films i enjoy as consistently as his.
