Yeah, well, his daughter is an actress apparently (yeah, neither did we), and now she’s adding auto-journo to her curriculum vitae.

If you’re curious, you can read her inaugural reviews here (as an aside, we never though we’d be linking to the Hollywood Reporter, yet here we are). We wish her all the best in her new side gig, of course, but something tells us Dan Neil can rest easy knowing that his job is probably still safe.
Not exactly in-depth reporting, of course. Then agan, that’s not really the point, is it?
Seriously, how many car entusiasts actually consider THR (or Playboy, or NYT, etc.) their “go to” resource for automotive research?
On the flip side…beautiful actress, really into cars, and daddy owns a couple of racetracks…what’s not to like?

I must say, after working at VIR and meeting the gentleman who owns it, I must say a very down to earth and nice guy. Dont know that particular daughter however. Wish I could make my living doing that.
